If you’ve ever been to a doctor’s office and were rushed, felt unheard, given a chronic diagnosis which seems insurmountable, or looking for alternative treatment options, you are not alone. Oftentimes, the journey to Integrative medicine starts with this or a similar experience.
Integrative Medicine is a combination of Westernized medicine and alternative healing. At MIND, we specialize in neurological disorders, but other practices may take a more general approach. We have a strong interest in culinary medicine, that is, choosing and preparing foods for disease prevention and possibly therapeutic benefits. We are focused on peer-reviewed research and evidence based medicine, both western and integrative approaches.
Check this space often for our take on emerging research, book reviews, recipes, therapeutic techniques, and more.
